H2k Gaming have announced Andreas "moddii" Fridh will be their fifth player at Arbalet Cup Europe.
The Swedish player has been without a team to represent since Playzone, where he was acting as a stand-in in EPS Nordic, announced the inactivity of their squad.
The former MYM star, whose last LAN appearance came at Copenhagem Games with Shark Gaming, will fill the shoes of Jon "hyvlarn" Edelsvärd.
Edelsvärd, who joined H2k from Begrip in March, is unable to attend the event as he needs to take some time off to focus on his coming exams.
"Due to Jon's studies and upcoming exams, it was hard for the guys to keep regularly practising lately," said team manager Elke "Binteh" Mahy. "This is why they took the decision to replace him temporarily in order to stay in shape and still practise as much as possible.
"I hope Andreas has a great time during his stay in H2k and I can only wish Jon the very best of luck with his exams and hope he makes a swift return!"
Although H2k Gaming state that Fridh will only be used at Arbalet Cup Europe, rakaka.se indicate that Edelsvärd will not return before the IOL Finals.
H2k Gaming will attend Arbalet Cup Europe with:
Andre "BARBARR" Möller
Danny "pop" Oldenburg
Markus "pronax" Wallstenen
Richard "Xizt" Landström
Andreas "moddi" Fridh
